Worcester – Estelle E. (Dumais) Lavallee, 96, of Worcester, passed away peacefully at Auburn Lifecare Center on Tuesday, June 17th.
Her husband of 66 years Leo Lavallee, passed away in April 2005. She leaves two sons, Leo A. “Butch” Lavallee Jr. and his wife Maureen of Millbury and Raymond R. Lavallee of Worcester, with whom she made her home; a grandson Stephen Lavallee and his wife Tina of Barre; several granddaughters, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Estelle was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Alexander and Delia (Gentesse) Dumais. She was the oldest of 7 children and is predeceased by all her siblings.
Mrs. Lavallee was active in the former Holy Name of Jesus Parish and served as chairperson of their bingo and was the past president of the Golden Age Club. She also enjoyed crafting.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, June 21st from the Alfred Roy and Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 20th from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
