Martinez, GA – Kay Crickenberger Purvis, loving wife of 47 years to Eulon F. Purvis, Jr., entered into rest on Monday, June 16, 2014.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel with Rev. Carlos Quinones, Rev. Frank Garner, Rev. Tom & Rev. Carolyn Schneider. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Kay attended Abundant Living Word Church and Grace Restoration Church. She loved traveling, playing piano, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her son; Glen Purvis (Julie) of Evans, GA, her daughter; Susan Foster (Brad), two brothers; Owen Crickenberger (Jan) of Augusta, GA, Ben Crickenberger (Judy) of Augusta, GA, one sister; Gail Todd (Bob) of Dunwoody, GA, four grandchildren; Joshua and Jacob Purvis, Ethan and Wyatt Foster, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
