Meech, Philip R. of Marshfield, passed away on June 12 at the age of 52 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dear son of the late William and Shirley (Garnett) Meech. Dear brother of Eric, Gregory, Keith, Jeff and Craig Meech and Paula Henderson. He is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews and many cousins and close friends.
Phil was a life-long Marshfield resident and graduated from Marshfield High School, class of 1981. He worked for many years at Gary Young Plumbing of Hanover, Ma. Long-time participant in Marshfield Men’s Softball League where he played outfield for Brant Rock Supermarket. He spent his free time fishing, clam digging, watching the Bruins and helping friends with projects.
There will be a Celebration of Phil’s life on Saturday, July 5th, at the Marshfield Yacht Club, 11 Ridge Road, Marshfield, Ma. from 4-8pm.
