Obituary

Worcester – Edward O. Bourgault Jr., 49, of Worcester, died on Friday, June 13th in Saint Vincent Hospital after being stricken ill on Wednesday, June 11th.

Mr. Bourgault is survived by his son, Edward O. Bourgault III; his daughter, Mikayla Bourgault; his parents, Edward O. Bourgault and Cynthia C. (Adukas) Bourgault; two brothers, Richard Bourgault and Marc – Andre Bourgault all of Worcester; a sister, Nicolle Reynoso of Webster and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ed was born in Worcester and attended Doherty Memorial High School. He also served in the United States Army National Guard for 2 years.

Mr. Bourgault worked for the Town of Barre in their Department of Public Works and also worked in the shipping department of Curtis Factory Tractor Cabs in Worcester. Ed enjoyed doing many things, however, one of the things that brought the most enjoyment to him was playing the guitar.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 18th at 5PM in St. Joseph’s Church 35 Hamilton St. Entombment will be at a later date in Notre Dame Mausoleum. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Bourgault may be made to the Harmony Club of Worcester and mailed to Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street Worcester, MA 01610 to help fund scholarships for local students.
