Thelma T. McLeod, 82, of Derry, NH passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, following a period of failing health. She was born on January 23, 1932 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, a daughter of the late Simon and Georgina (Beaulieu) Frank. Thelma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved being with her family and helping them in any way she could.
She is survived by her husband John W. McLeod, three sons, James McLeod and his wife Maureen, Jay McLeod and his wife Kelli, and Jon McLeod and his wife Gail; two daughters, Jean Santitto and Janice Paradis and her significant other Tom Sheehan; seven grandchildren, Jason and his significant other Meliza Cupeles, Tyler, Brittany, Stacy, Ryan, Aggie and her husband Raul Rivera, and Angelo and his wife Heather Santitto; nine great grandchildren, Rayleen, Anthony, Joey, Alexis, Aaliyah, Adrian, Savanna, David and Kaden; as well as many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the NHSPCA, PO Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885.
