Worcester – Mabel J. (Pepin) Rheaume, 88, of 94 Burncoat St. formerly of Pleasant Valley Dr. died on Tuesday November 9, in Umass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus.
Her husband William G. Rheaume died in 1988. Mrs. Rheaume is survived by one son David Rheaume of Fort Myers, FL; three daughters Jeanne Pikora of Plant City, FL, Dorothy Rheaume and Claire Gedman both of Worcester; 10 grandchildren which include Michael Lantini and his wife Mary of Spencer and Alan Gedman and his wife Dawn of CT; 16 great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by three brothers and 1 sister. Mrs. Rheaume was born in Montpellier, Vermont daughter of Alexander and Amazalie (Breton) Pepin.
She worked as a L.P.N. for several years in local nursing homes as well as being a private duty nurse. Mrs. Rheaume was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church. She was also a member of the Goldenaires singing group after her retirement.
The funeral will be held on Friday November 12 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church 570 Lincoln St. Burial will be held in Worcester County memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Thursday November 11 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
