Joey Brown
of Lowell
Joey Brown, age 37, a lifelong Lowell resident, passed away at the Lowell General Hospital-Saints Campus on Saturday, June 7, 2014.
Born in Lowell on July 19, 1976, he was the son of James W. Brown, who survives him, of Lowell and the late Teresa (Bettencourt) Brown.
Joey worked for several years in the residential construction industry. Most recently, he worked as a handyman for Turcottes Liquors in Lowell.
Joey had a love for animals and collecting Matchbox cars and old Coca Cola and Pepsi products.
In addition to his father, Joey is survived by two children, Kristallee M. and Kyle J. Brown both of Lowell; one brother, James J. Brown of Lowell; four sisters, Christina M. Brown of Lowell, Shannon M. Brown of Methuen, Micheala Brown, and Samantha T. Brown both of Lowell; his friend and companion of Millie Tomblin of Lowell; his step-mother, Suzanne McGuire and sister Mary McGuire; also several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received Thursday, June 19, from 10-11 a.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held privately.
