Mary L. Cordima, age 68, and a longtime resident of Burlington passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on June 9th, following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Thomas S. Cordima Sr. and together they shared nearly 46 years of marriage. Born in Waltham she was one of five children of the late James J. and Luella D. (Cochran) Quigley.
"Marylou", as she was known to her family and friends, was raised in Belmont and graduated from Belmont High School, class of 1963. She was a retired ATM operator with Bank of America where she worked for thirty years. Marylou had a great sense of humor and it was always a joy to see or hear her laugh. Mostly devoted to her family, Marylou enjoyed and was most happy when she was with her family and especially doting over her grandchildren who gave her such great joy. When not caring for her family, Marylou also enjoyed traveling and camping.
Along with her late parents, Marylou is predeceased by her son; Dominic J. Cordima, three brothers and one sister. She is survived by her son, Thomas S. Cordima, Jr. of Burlington, daughters, Mary L. Cuddy and her husband Daniel of Dracut, Cheryl L. Cordima and her husband Paul Vozila of Arlington, Tammy M. Reveal and her husband Jason of Nashua, NH. She was the loving grandmother of Amanda and Jacquelyn Cuddy, Tiffany, Emily and Rachael Reveal.
Funeral services will be held form the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Saturday, June 14th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Malachy Church, 99 Bedford St., BURLINGTON, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home will be held Thursday from 4 thru 8 p.m. and Friday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Pine Haven Cemetery, Burlington.
