Worcester – Kleber A. Burgos, 86, of Worcester, died on Friday, May 30th in Umass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus after an illness.
Mr. Burgos is survived by his wife, Yolanda Burgos of Worcester; three daughters, Annabella Burgos of Worcester, Jenny Burgos of Los Angeles, CA and Joan Keyes and her husband Paul of Worcester; two sons; Ivan Burgos and his wife Carol of Webster, MA and Gino Burgos of Los Angeles; a daughter in law, Shelly Burgos of Florida; many brothers and sisters including, Piedad Rendon of New Jersey and his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kleber was born in Ecuador, son of the late Arturo and Victoria (Villa) Burgos and is also predeceased by a son Harry Burgos.
Mr. Burgos worked as a machinist for many years until his retirement. He was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics and enjoyed watching soccer as well as listening to Frank Sinatra and country and western music.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 4th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street with a Funeral Mass at 11 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel – St. Ann Church 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are on Tuesday, June 3rd from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
