John D. Castro, 91 of Medford, died Thursday May 29 after a long illness in the Aberjona Nursing Center, Winchester.
Born in Boston, he lived in Medford for 30 years and formerly of Winchester. He was the son of the late Mary (Spada) and Joseph Castro. John as a Salesman with Boston Cadillac, Frost Cadillac and Olsen Cadillac for many years and retired in 2003.
Beloved husband of the late Marie G. (Troisi) Castro. Devoted father of John J. Castro of Woburn, Jude V. Castro of Wellesley, Ann M. Johnson of Wilmington, and the late Marie Castro. Also survived by three loving grandchildren. Brother of Emanuel Castro of Chelmsford, the late Frank Castro, Joseph Castro and Ann Doolittle.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Tuesday, June 3rd, at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 514 High St., Medford, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the funeral home prior to the services from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
