DUDLEY – Beverly J. (Domurad) Scanlon, 66, died Friday, May 30, 2014 in UMass/Memorial Healthcare, Worcester after an illness.
She leaves 2 sons, Bryan K. Scanlon and his wife Stacy of Walnut Creek, CA and David P. Scanlon of South Dennis; and 2 granddaughters, Molly Taylor Scanlon and Samantha Elizabeth Scanlon.
She was born and raised in Webster, the daughter of Bernard and Julia T. (Krawczyk) Domurad. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1965 and attended nursing school.
Mrs. Scanlon was a licensed practical nurse. She worked at area hospitals and at doctor’s offices until retiring in 1998.
She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica in Webster. She enjoyed oil painting, cooking and dogs. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, June 4, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 3, and again from 8:30 to 9:30 AM Wednesday, June 4, in the funeral home.
