Dorothy J. Smith
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, May 28, 2014, Dorothy Marie Junkin Smith, 82, wife of the late Robert W. Smith.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Greenville, SC, but lived in Augusta for the last 60 years. She retired from Murray Biscuit Company. She was a loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law.
Family members include daughters: Janice Griffin (Billy), Jean Posey (Danny) and Joan Walton; grandchildren: Dan Posey, Julie Posey, the late Ryan Carpenter, Summer Shaw, Taylor Walton and Evan Walton; and great-grandchildren: Hailey Carpenter, Kaidence Carpenter, Landon Shaw, Hunter Shaw and Lucas Bonadio; sister: Lucia Scholle.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. at Sunset Memory Gardens with Rev. Johnny Rogers officiating.
