Obituary

LAWRENCE – Therese Clare (Bergeron) Boutin of Lawrence passed away on Saturday morning, May 24th at Wingate in Haverhill.

Terri was born on January 10, 1928 in Lawrence, Mass to the late Joseph and Alice (Lemay) Bergeron. Mrs. Boutin was a graduate of St. Theresa’s High School in Methuen and McIntosh Business School. She sang in the church choir and later with the Tony Brown Orchestra and the Freddie Hines Combo at various venues, including Canobie Lake Park and Weirs Beach, NH. Terri was employed at Western Electric, South Union St. Lawrence, Bon Secours Hospital and Arrigg Eye and Ear. She enjoyed bowling, bocci and ballroom dancing.

Terri was the beloved wife of Robert S. Boutin of Lawrence for 67 years. She was the devoted mother of Neal S. Boutin of Weirs Beach, NH and Englewood, FL, Joseph R. Boutin of Methuen, James M. Boutin of Lawrence and John F. Boutin and his wife Susan of Hampstead, NH. Therese was the dear sister of Gloria M. Prunier of St. Petersburg, FL. She is also survived by three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGMENTS: Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Theresa’s Church 22 Plymouth St. Methuen, MA Saturday May 31, 2014 at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
