H. Clarice (Tootell) Santos, 89, of Westport passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Friday, May 23, 2014 at Kimwell Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was wife of the late John A. Santos, Jr.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late James and Hannah (Longford) Tootell, she had lived in Westport for most of her life. Mrs. Santos enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, cooking and baking, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include 5 sons: John A. Santos III, Norman B. Santos, Arthur D. Santos, Kevin W. Santos and Karl W. Santos all of Westport; 2 daughters: Katherine A. Santos-Rezendes of Cary, NC and Holly J. Abdallah of Morrisville, NC; 4 grandchildren: Mostafa Abdallah, Nadia Abdallah, Eman Abdallah and Rebecca Rezendes; and several nieces and nephews.
