Adam J. Berganza, 23

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

Adam J. Berganza, age 23, of Mansfield passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family, in the comfort of his home on Monday, May 26, 2014.
Born in Quincy, MA on November 15, 1990, he was the cherished son of Adelso and Aura L. (Pivaral) Berganza of Mansfield.
Adam grew up in the Dorchester section of Boston, prior to moving to Mansfield with his family 8 years ago. He was a 2009 graduate of Mansfield High School and furthered his education by attending Bob Jones University in South Carolina, and most recently had attended Bristol Community College in Attleboro.
For the past year, Adam had worked as an Assistant Manager for Radio Shack at it’s Mansfield Crossings store, and was very knowledgeable in electronics and computers.
He was a member of the Waters Church in North Attleboro where he also belonged to the young adults group and was also a member of the Bob Jones Sunday Sunshine Club, and the National Medline.
Adam had many interests; his passion being photography and drawing. He also enjoyed downloading music and movies, attending local car shows, and cheering on the Patriots, Sea Hawks and Red Sox.
Above all else, Adam’s family and friends were the focal point of his life ad he enjoyed entertaining them with fireworks and bonfires. He was an extraordinary young man who always put others first, especially his mother and nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his devoted brother and sisters; Jorge, Bivian and her husband Luis, and Maira and her husband Marlon. He was the adoring uncle of Alan, Monserrat, Julian and Isabella, and is also survived by his dear godparents; Dimas and Bergelina Medina, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday, June 2nd at 10:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, North Attleboro, MA
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, June 1st from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
