Mary A. (Raffoul) Cordima, of Medford, died Monday at Sunbridge Nursing Home in North Reading. She was 86.
Mrs. Cordima was born and raised in the South End of Boston, the daughter of the late George and the late Mary (Abraham) Raffoul. She lived in Medford for nearly 50 years and was an active member of St. Joseph’s Parish Sodality. She worked in management of an insurance company, before her retirement.
She was the beloved wife of Frank J. Cordima. She was a devoted mother to George Cordima of Andover, Charles Cordima of Vallejo, CA, Michael Cordima of Saugus, Francis Cordima of No. Andover and the late Carol Sambets. She was a loving grandmother to 12 and great grandmother to 5. She was a dear sister to Budea Azar of NY, Harry Raffoul of Peabody and Tom Raffoul of W. Roxbury. Mary also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives may visit Thursday from 4 - 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Joseph Church, Medford, Friday at 9 AM with the Rev. Patrick McLaughlin, celebrant. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
