James Wayne Bliven, 51, of Taftville and formerly of Ledyard, died Friday, May 23, 2014 at W.W. Backus Hospital in Norwich.
He was born January 31, 1963 in New London, the son of Frank and Georgia (Sturgis) Bliven. He is also survived by his daughter, Jessica Bliven of Rocky Hill, CT, as well as his sister, Joan Disco and four brothers, Gary Bliven, Arthur Bliven, Austin Knight, and Mike Bliven, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10:00am at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. Burial will be private for the family.
