Obituary

Violette Bonneau, 91, formerly of Privilege St. Woonsocket died Tuesday morning at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. She was the loving wife of the late Rene Bonneau.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Diana (Sarazin) Durand. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Bonneau worked for the City of Woonsocket as a clerk of the Board of Canvassers for over ten years. She was a homemaker when she was raising her family.
Violette will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by a son Roland R. Bonneau of Clinton, MA., a daughter Pauline S. Payeur and her husband, Gerard, of Woonsocket and two grandsons Keith and Kevin Bonneau both of Clinton, MA. She was the sister of Doris Bell of Woonsocket and the late Claire Rancourt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 am in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Friday morning from 8:30-9:30 am, prior to Mass, in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
