Tampa - Richard C. Rondeau Sr., 54, of Port Richey, FL died on Sunday Nov. 7 in the Kindred Central Hospital, Tampa.
He leaves a son Richard C. Rondeau Jr. of Holiday, FL; a longtime companion of 35 years Amy Roy; a step son Edward Roy and a step daughter Michelle Blanchard both of Holiday, FL; two brothers Wilfred Rondeau of Worcester and Chester Rondeau of Oxford; 9 sisters Ethel Broadard and Anna Walley both of Worcester, Georgia Foskett of CA, Elizabeth Leveillee of Leicester, Doris Lambert, Sheila Hanlan, Debora Burnett, Emily Clemens all of Worcester and Dianne Rondeau of Leominster; 6 grandchildren; nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Mr. Rondeau was born in Worcester son of Charles and Elizabeth (Lamonthe) Rondeau and has lived in Florida for the past 5 years.
He worked for Sunrise Senior Living in Palm Harbor, FL and previously worked for Talbot Trading Co. as a shipper and receiver for over 30 years.
The funeral will be held on Thursday Nov. 11 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10 AM in Notre Dame des Canadiens Church, Salem Square. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are form 7 to 9 PM in the funeral home on Wednesday Nov. 10.
