Gilberte F. Cotnoir, 87, of Berlin, passed away on Sunday May 18, 2014 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin. She was born in St. Francois, PQ, Canada on October 5, 1926 the daughter of Francois and Yvonne (Simard) Allaire and moved from Coaticook, PQ to Berlin in 1962. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, was a good cook, loved to sew and knit and enjoyed her family.
Family members include her daughter Johanne Mercier and husband Daniel of Berlin; her son Daniel Cotnoir and wife Lynn of Berlin; her grandchildren Melinda and Tyler; sisters Rollande Couture of Sault St. Marie, ONT, Ghislaine Allaire of Coaticook, PQ and Claudette Fauteux of Coaticook, PQ; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Armand on June 29, 2009.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday May 22, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later day.
