Wanda S. Baker, (formally Bolinger), 70, Anderson, went to be with her lord and savior May 15, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Anderson Regional after an extended illness. She was born November 23, 1943 in Knox County, KY to Pete Sr. and Martha Baker. She was a charter member of Chesterfield Legion Women’s Auxiliary, Post 408.
Mother loved nature and all things wild with special interests towards humming birds, fire flies and a huge connection with her Pug, Sky. Mother also traveled the country from coast to coast visiting most of our nation’s historical landmarks with her loving and unwavering companion, Larry. She will be greatly missed and her loving memory will be written on our hearts for eternity.
She is survived by her partner, Larry Shultz; 2 sons, Tony (Tonya) Bolinger and Ted Bolinger, Grandson, Jake Bolinger; Sisters, Reva (Roy) Edwards and Betty Mendro; Several special nieces and nephews; Larry’s children, Kathy (Joe) Dunk and MaryAnn (Bob) Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gerald “Bo” Bolinger, Jr.; Brothers Pete Jr. and Ed. Sisters, Freda, Hazel, Lila, Lelia and Kate. And her beloved Pug, Sky.
Funeral Service will be at 4:00pm on Wednesday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Ed Hyatt officiating. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will take place 2 hours prior to service.
