Blanche D. Bonneau, 88, of New Bedford died May 16, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Roland J. Bonneau, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.
Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late George and Eva (Boule) Talbot, she lived in New Bedford for many years before moving to Belleair, FL and returning to New Bedford.
Mrs. Bonneau was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
She was formerly employed as a receptionist with the Department of Public Welfare Long Term Care for several years until her retirement.
Mrs. Bonneau was a member of the Garden club and social club while living in Florida.
Her family would like to that the staff at Hathaway Manor for years of excellent care that she received and to the staff at St. Luke's Hospital Crapo Unit and Southcoast Hospice.
Survivors include her daughter, Elaine Seguer and her husband Charlie of New Bedford; 2 sisters, Rita Izzo and her husband Frank of Blufton, SC and Pauline Pascoal of Bedford, NH; a grandson, Kurt Seguer and his wife Amy of Ladson, SC; a great-grandson, Noah Seguer; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Normand Talbot and George Talbot.
Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 28th at 10 AM in St. Julie Billiart Church. Please omit flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of one's choice.
