WHEATON, IL – Edward A. Hindle, 79, of Brighton Gardens, formerly of Webster, MA, died Friday, Nov. 5, after a brief illness.
He leaves 2 daughters, Theresa M. Hindle and Paula A. Hindle both of Downers Grove, IL; 2 sons, James D. Hindle of Dayville, CT and Brian E. Hindle of Webster, MA; 2 granddaughters, Ashley Marie Hindle, Samantha L. Hindle, 1 grandson, Nicholas E. Hindle; nieces and nephews.
He was born in Holyoke, MA, a son of the late Adam and Alice (Farrell) Hindle. He was a graduate of South Hadley High School. Mr. Hindle moved to Webster, MA, in 1967, and then to Wheaton in 2002.
He was employed as an office manager at an insurance company retiring in 1990. He then worked as a security guard for Blackstone Security and a salesman for the McIsaac Co. He was a veteran of the U.S Navy and a member of St. Louis Church in Webster, MA.
The funeral will be held Sat., Nov. 13, from the Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main St., Webster, MA, with a Mass at 9:30 AM in St. Louis Church. Burial will be in Newton Cemetery, Newton, MA. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Fri. at the funeral home.
