Obituary

Coursey, Thomas P. of Wellesley passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the age of 66 from cancer and diabetes. He leaves his much loved wife of 41 years Anne Moynihan Coursey and his son Brennan Coursey and his wife Michelle of Westford, MA and his daughter Annalise Coursey of Austin, TX and two adored grandchildren Aidan and Kylie Coursey. Brother of Frank Coursey of Stowe, VT; Elizabeth Corwin of Potomac, VA; Ellen Buckley of Hampton, NH.

Tom was an Attorney and a CPA and his career was a Banking Finance Executive. He was also an avid golfer, graduate of Providence College and Boston College Law School. Tom was also the son in law of the late Judge Cornelius Moynihan, a founder of Boston College Law School, and the judge who presided over the Boston Strangler Case.

Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (RT. 16) Wellesley, Friday May 23 at 10AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Wellesley Hills, at 11AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours, Thursday from 4-8PM. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Thomas’ memory to Juvenile Diabetes Research, 60 Walnut St. Wellesley, MA 02481.
