Laurise A. (Generelli) LaCroix 77 of 1075 Main St., died Monday, November 11th at the Meadows of Leicester after an illness.
She was the wife of Everett J. LaCroix who died in 1989. She leaves two sons; Robert E. "Jonathan" LaCroix of Florence, Ma., Richard J. LaCroix, a daughter, Lisa A. Mercier of Leicester, two brothers; Robert Generelli of Verona, Italy, James Generelli of Worcester, a sister, Mary Vigliatura of North Grafton, four grandchildren; Michael & Rachel Mercier, Brian & Patrick LaCroix and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Ralph & Anna (Gesuse) Generelli and previously lived in Rochdale, a section of Leicester, for over 46 years.
Mrs. LaCroix was a graduate of Commerce High School in Worcester. She was a fabricator at Worcester Tool & Stamping in Rochdale for 30 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church in Leicester and it's Lady's Guild and the Leicester Senior Center. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, gardening and cooking.
The funeral will be held Thursday, November 11th from the MORRISON-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Aloysius-St. Jude Church, 489 Pleasant St., Leicester. Burial will be in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
