SCRIMA, Louis Robert, Esq. of Roslindale, on 10 April 2014. Beloved husband of Anne W. Jackson, Ph.D., adored Daddy of Maeve Vittoria Yan and Gioia Fiona Qing Jackson-Scrima. Devoted son of the late Ralph and Jean (Fogliano) Scrima. Cherished cousin, godfather, nephew, brother-in-law, colleague, neighbor, friend. Graduate of Hofstra University and Boston University Law School. Lou loved his family, his garden, his work; books, music, good food and wine, lively conversation. Passionately loyal son of New York City, he made Boston home, bringing energy, intelligence, and heart to the service of his loved ones, community, profession, and life there. We hold him in our hearts now that we can no longer hold him in our arms, trusting in reunion “In the sweet by-and-by.”
Visiting hours at the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Monday, May 19 from 4-8 pm with a gathering to share memories of Lou from 7-8 pm. Memorial service in the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 21 Stratford Street, West Roxbury, Tuesday, May 20 at 2 pm. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private.
