Manchester– Helen M. Boufford, 85, died May 13, 2014 at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on July 12, 1928 the daughter of Raymond and Alice (Courchesne) Bartlett.
She had worked for New England Telephone.
She was a longtime parishioner of St. Anthony Church, and a lifetime member of St. Anne Sodality. She also held membership in the Sisters of the Precious Blood Monastery.
Family members include her husband of 58 years, Donald Boufford of Manchester, one son, Michael Boufford and his wife Dawn of Londonderry, four daughters, Colette Hill and her husband, Daniel of San Antonio, TX., Annette Setzler and her husband, Frank of Gilbert, AZ., Janine Chouinard and her husband, Bill of Weare, Christine Czarny and her husband, Michael of Williston, VT., thirteen grandchidren , 2 great grandchildren, two brothers, Arthur Bartlett and his wife, Madeleine of Ormond Beach, FL., Robert Bartlett and his wife, Frances of Northwood, two sisters, Shirley Guertin of Hudson, Susan Pippenger and her husband, Pete of Largo, FL.
She was predeceased by her sister Claire Demers on March 26, 2014.
A mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday 10 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church.
Committal prayers will follow in the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
