Montgomery, Boyd R., 84, passed away May 14, 2014. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a Navy Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julia and Floyd Montgomery and brothers, Billy and Benny Montgomery.
Boyd is survived by his sister, Mary Jo Jeffords; nieces and nephew, Deborah Goodin (Joseph), Robert Montgomery (Jeanne), Julia Cherven, and Anita Jutz, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Dellene Montgomery; as well as a longtime companion, Geneva Nash.
A graveside memorial gathering for burial of his cremated remains will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central at a later date.
