Susan Pellerin Seavey, 62, of Methuen, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014, peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, after a long illness. Susan was born on June 9, 1951, in Lawrence, to the late Leonell and Cecile (Voisine) Pellerin. Susan was educated at Ste. Anne Grammar School and graduated from Ste. Anne High School in Lawrence. She also graduated from Capillo’s School of Hair Design in Lawrence, and eventually became employed as Administrator of the School. She also worked at Antoine’s Hair Design in Lawrence.
Susan especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She appreciated the beauty of flowers and demonstrated her talents with her small home garden of many flowers, vegetables and small ornamental figures, both religious and whimsical. Susan had a great deal of love for animals, particularly her miniature schnauzers, George and Henry.
Susan was the devoted wife of Richard Seavey, and also leaves behind her dear sisters, Yvonne Perreault and husband Robert, of Methuen and Judy Lacroix and husband Lucien of Newburyport. Susan also leaves her aunt and Godmother, Rose Pellerin. She was aunt to Wayne, Robert, John and Gary Perreault and Jason Lacroix and their wives and children. She also leaves behind many family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, May 17th from 10 am to 12:30 pm, at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, Ma 01844. A memorial service will be held immediately following the calling hours. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Susan’s name to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers, Ma 01923, or to a charity of one’s choice. The Kenneth H.
