NATICK - Cynthia A. Cashen, 82, of Natick, died on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
She is survived by her daughters, Denise Cunningham, Joanne Arnold, and Debra Racine. She is also survived by her sister Valerie Gendron, as well as her grandchildren; Susan R. Doyle, William Tobin, Bernice Hall, David Cunningham, Patrick J. Steen Jr., Brenda Steen, Daniel Steen, and Seth Chaney and her great grandchildren, whom she adored. Cynthia was predeceased by brother Richard Huntoon.
Cindy was always there helping her family and friends. She was very compassionate with those around her and loved animals. She portrayed an outgoing personality that drew people she knew close to her. She was the life of the party and she knew how to put a smile on anyone's face with her laughter. She was always there to listen to your problems and give her advice. She touched so many hearts and had a great love for life. She was known as the neighborhoods Grandma and they dedicated a T-shirt in her honor.
As a young lady, Cynthia found much joy in music. She enjoyed singing and dancing and playing the piano. Over the years, music always surrounded her. Cynthia was an avid reader, a pastime she found pleasure in.
