Greta R. Manseau, of Poplar St., died Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late John and Yvonne (Guilbeault) Carolo. Greta was a waitress for Kay’s Restaurant for over thirty five years, retiring in 2010. She also waitressed at the former Vermette’s Restaurant and Cape Cod Creamery. Greta enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading mysteries and vacationing at Cape Cod. She loved her granddaughters and was devoted to her pets.
She is survived by her children, Paula J. Manseau of Woonsocket, with whom she lived, Glen A. Manseau and his wife Sara of Boston. MA, and David J. Manseau of Boulder Creek, CA, and two granddaughters Julianna, and Jennifer.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Blackstone. Visiting hours are Monday 4-7 PM.
