Meredith-----Roberta Anne Boynton, 74, of 125 Livingston Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Thursday, May 8, 2014.
Mrs. Boynton was born October 3, 1939 in Laconia, N.H., the daughter of the late Bertha (Benoit) and Lorenzo “Larry” Beaudoin. She was raised in Laconia and had been a resident of Virginia for over thirty years before returning to Laconia She had been employed by the Lakes Region General Hospital as a LNA for a number of years.
Mrs. Boynton was a member of the Laconia Lodge of Elks # 876 and was a member of the Rebekah’s in Ashland and also a member of the Meredith Center Grange.
Survivors include her husband, Lester W. Boynton, of Meredith; a son, Roy Vanover, of Reidsville, Georgia; two daughters, Tina Handerson of Grayson, Georgia and Lisa Paulson of Holbrook, Mass.; a stepson, Daniel Boynton, of Danbury, N.H.; a stepdaughter, Teresa Girlets, of Vale, North Carolina; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Beaudoin, of Laconia; one niece and one nephew. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boynton was predeceased by a son, Shawn Tobey, two daughters, Bonnie Tobey and Karen Cassavaugh and a brother, Robert Beaudoin.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 12, 2014 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andre Bessette Parish at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, N.H.
Burial will follow in the family lot at Green Grove Cemetery, Ashland, N.H.
