WORCESTER-John W. DiLiddo, 76, of 5 Suburban Road, formerly of 4 Baker Street, died Sunday, November 7th in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 52 years, Beth (Reardon) DiLiddo, 3 sons, John V. DiLiddo of Arundel, ME, Michael J. and his wife, Marianne DiLiddo of Webster, William A. DiLiddo of Danielson, CT, a daughter, Ann Marie DiLiddo of Worcester, 3 brothers, Anthony and Joseph DiLiddo both of Worcester, Vincent DiLiddo of Boyslton, a sister, Lena Olson of Dennisport and his 2 granddaughters, Victoria and Deidre DiLiddo of Webster. A sister Elizabeth Kirby predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester the son of Vincent and Josephine (Formiconi) DiLiddo. Mr. DiLiddo had served in the Navy, and had worked for 31 years for the Massachusetts Department of Public Works, Highway Department, retiring in 1988 as foreman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Italian cooking, and especially his time spent with his beloved granddaughters.
The funeral is Wednesday, November 10th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Tuesday, November 9th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
