Obituary

TAUNTON – Carmen (Rodriguez) Morales, wife of the late Isidro Morales, died in Taunton at the home of her daughter, Aida on May 7, 2014.
She was 75.
Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Crispulo and Evangelista Rodriguez.
A resident of the area since she was 19 years old, Mrs. Morales was employed by Talbot’s Distribution before retiring several years ago.
A recipient of the Marian Medal Award, she was a devoted communicant of St. Mary’s Church and active member of the Spanish community.
Survivors include four daughters, Carmen and Miriam Morales, both of Taunton, Gladys Morales of Waltham and Aida L. Morales - Rivera of Taunton; a son, Isidro Morales, Jr. of Taunton; two brothers, Pedro J. Rodriguez and Felix Espinosa, both of Taunton; three sisters, Luz Maria Rodriguez of Rochester, NY, Fidencia Rodriguez and Vidalina Rodriguez, both of Puerto Rico; two grandchildren, Alexandra Pagan of Taunton and Benjamin A. Morales of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews, including Rafael Rodriguez of New Bedford.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday, May 13th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 12th from 5 to 8 p.m.
