In Norton, May 6, 2014 Rita M. (Robino) Chase wife of the late Roland Chase of 52 years died at Epoch of Norton at the age of 100. Born in Francavilla, Italy, Rita was the daughter of the late Peter and Santina (Dimarini) Robino. Rita was a retired seamstress for Taunton Dress. Rita loved to spend time on Cape Cod, is an avid bird watcher and knew the name of every wildflower. She loved the Island of Bermuda, oil painting, crochet, knitting and was a volunteer at Morton Hospital for many years. She also was an avid fan of Tony Bennett and Andrea Bocelli. She was the loving mother of Mark Chase and his wife Elena of Taunton, Marilyn Gaeta and her husband Richard of Salem, Matthew Chase of CT and the late Michael Chase. Grandmother of Marie Fields of Maine, Remy Chase and Rachel Chase both of RI. Great grandmother of Amanda and Kayla. Sister of Teresa Correia of Taunton and the late Bruno, Charles, Louis and Mario Robino. Aunt of several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Saturday, May 10th from 8:30-10:30 AM. A Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church in Taunton at 11 AM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
