Obituary

Amancio “Moe” Cabral, Jr., age 84, of Westport, passed away May 6, 2014 with his loving wife Eleanor S. (Medeiros) Cabral by his side. Born in Fall River he was the son of the late Amancio and Margaret (Borges) Cabral. Prior to retirement he was a carpenter for the Carpenter’s Union Local 1305. He was a very talented carpenter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Germany from 1951-1953.

Amancio also leaves behind his brother Virginio Cabral (wife Barbara) of Plymouth and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Emily Ventura.

His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River FRIDAY with extended calling hours from 8:30-10:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Espirito Santo Church at 10:30 A.M. Entombment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. In leiu of flowers please make a donation to Southcoast VNA
