Mary (Rappazo) Meisner, age 77, of Salem, NH, died peacefully on May 3rd 2014 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, MA.
She was born in 1936 in Lawrence, MA, where she grew up and attended schools. She graduated from UNH Magna Cum Laude and held a PhD in Psychology. She was a resident of Salem for over 50 years.
Mary was a Guidance Councilor and business manager of Stylerite Homes. She was a member and past President of the Lady Lions Club, the Red Hatters Club, and she volunteered at the Salem Senior Center. She also loved to play Marjong at the Center. Mary loved genealogy, and was a member of the NH Genealogy Society. She was also a member of the Northeastern Avicultural Society.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald Meisner.
She is survived by her children, Kim and her husband Ron Gallant, Kurt and his wife Gretchen Meisner, Karen Meisner, and Kyle Meisner all of Salem, NH.
Grandchildren: Adam and Amanda Mooshian, Michael, Jonathan and Joshua Gallant and Nathan, Zachary, and Matthew Meisner.
Memorial visitation will be held Friday, May 9th from 6-8 PM and Saturday, May 10th from 10 AM-11 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
