Betty Ross (Hamilton) Ciani,85, of Ramshorn Rd., passed away Monday morning in her home.
She leaves her husband of 64 years; Arthur Ciani, 4 daughters; Carol Bembenek and her husband Robert of Webster, Donna Cook of Charlton, Ellen Butcher and her husband Bob of FLA., and Fay Connors of Southbridge, 3 brothers; Malcolm, Russell and Gerard Hamilton, 3 sisters; Shirley , Barbara and Joan . 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Buddy Hamilton.
Betty was born in Sutton a daughter of the late Clarence and Claire (Ross) Hamilton and has lived in Charlton many years.
She worked at the former American Optical Co., in Southbridge, then worked at the former Stevens Linen Associates in Dudley for many years before retiring.
Betty enjoyed being with her grand children and her beloved dogs as also enjoyed playing Bingo as well as being a great homemaker.
A Funeral Service for Betty will be Friday, May 9, 2014 at 10 AM in the ROBERT J.MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd, burial will follow in West Ridge Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 5PM to 7PM in the Funeral Home.
