Obituary

George F. Carleton, 57, passed away after a brief illness Monday May 5th. Born August 4th 1956, son of the late Frank & Ruth Carleton of Pelham, NH. George was a generous, kind soul despite his imposing stature, he was often times a gentle giant. He had a love for literature, music and art. He was usually able to find beauty in every crevice. George was a handy man and could fix almost anything you put in front of him. He also had a passion for motorcycles and cars especially vintage British racing ones.
George was an equipment Engineer employed at Aeroflex in Londonderry, NH
He had worked for over 25 years in the Semi-conductor industry past employers included Nantero, Texas Instruments,Unitrode, Intel, Draper Labs and Balzers. This world will never be the same without him in it. He will be greatly missed by ALMOST everyone that he met.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Wendi (Taylor) Carleton of Hooksett,N.H. Two daughters; Jilian Ann & Stefanie Jade, their fiancés Matthew Wiedman and Shaun Acevedo. Two Grandchildren; Shayla & Isaiah Acevedo all of Manchester, NH.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 1:00 – 4:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry with a service that began at 4:00pm. Cremation will follow. Committal was Friday May 9, 2014 at 10:00am in the Gibson Cemetery, Mammoth Road, Pelham, NH.
