Helen A. (Kirkorian) Broman, 92, of Worcester died Sunday, May 4th in Millbury Health Care Center. Her husband of 67 years, Robert E. Broman died in 2013. She leaves a son, James D. Broman of Worcester; a daughter, Judy Kaufmann and her husband, Austin W. of Eagan, MN; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Arisdakes and Sophia (Sava) Kirkorian and graduated from Major Howard Beal High School in Shrewsbury. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who passionately dedicated her life to the importance of the closely knit 3rd and 4th generation family. She deeply mourned the loss of it in our present day culture as the norm. She firmly believed that this loss far out-weighed any personal or worldly gains that we may have achieved.
Her funeral service and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton will be private. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
