Obituary

OXFORD-Jane O. (Handy) DuBois, of 15 Clarence Drive, formerly of Grafton, died Sunday, November 7th in Autumn Village Nursing Home after a long illness. Her husband, Alfred T. DuBois died in 2003. She leaves her son, David G. DuBois of Oxford, her daughter, Elaine S. Karsok of Shrewsbury, a brother, Roger Handy of Holden, 3 sisters, Shirley Mariors of Worcester, Beverly Noyes of Holden and Janet Paquette of Sutton, 3 grandchildren, Ryan J. Alt, Christopher M. Alt and Rebecca S. Alt, several nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Robert and Raymond Handy predeceased her.

She was born in Marlboro the daughter of Raymond and Corinne (Robert) Handy and graduated from Commerce High School. Mrs. DuBois worked for the Grafton Credit Union for many years until her retirement. Previously she worked as an office worker for Riley Stoker Corporation for many years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Grafton and a member of it’s Women’s Club. She was a talented sewer and a very good cook. Jane possessed a quiet dignity and was an honest and innocent person who led an exemplary life.

The funeral service is at Noon on Tuesday, November 9th, in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Mooreland Cemetery, Paxton. A calling hour is from 11:00 AM until Noon in the funeral home the morning of the funeral.
