Prewitt, Carolyn (Monks), 74, went home to her Lord, Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Louisville, KY to Arthur G. & Mary (Langley) Monks. Carolyn was a homemaker and a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, St. Denis Campus for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 32 years, Gary A. Prewitt and a brother, Donald Monks. Survivors include her son, Terry Prewitt (Glenda); 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ronald Monks (Shirley) and Arthur Monks Jr. (Donna), and several nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Sunday 2:00 – 8:00 PM.
