Helen McFarland

Helen (Kailor) McFarland, 90, longtime Anderson resident, died April 29, 2014 at Hoover Wood Nursing Home in Indianapolis.
Helen was born on February 11, 1924 in Anderson, the daughter of Joseph P. and Margaret Anna (Moss) Kailor. She graduated in 1943 from Anderson High School. She was employed for 30 years by Guide Lamp Division of General Motors and had also worked as a Law Librarian in Highland County, FL. She was a member of Fifth Street United Methodist Church, Order of The Eastern Star #154, Eagles Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary and the AARP.
Survivors include her a daughter Margaret McFarland of Carmel and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Wayne McFarland, daughter April Davis 4 brothers and 6 sisters.
Services will be held on Friday, May 2, at 11:30 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Burial will take place at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, IN. Visitation will be held on from 10 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Fifth Street United Methodist Church.
