Obituary

Cavanaugh, Joseph Passed away unexpectedly at home on April 25 at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Anne (Sullivan) Cavanaugh of Plymouth. He leaves a brother, late William Cavanaugh II (wife Dorothy Ann), sister Joan Stewart of FL, brother Robert Cavanaugh (wife Lynn) of Palm Springs. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Joseph was born in Buffalo, NY the son of William and Elizabeth (LeFauve) Cavanaugh. Joe worked for the railroads for over 40 years. Most recently for the Massachusetts Bay Commuter Railway as a Conductor. Joe has lived in Plymouth for the last 16 years coming from Norton. He was a member of the UTU (United Transportation Union) the NRA and GOAL, and a member and current President of the Plymouth Rod and Gun Club. Joe was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman.
Visiting Hours will be Wednesday April 30, from 1pm-7pm, at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Road (Rte 3A) Plymouth (Manomet). In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe’s memory may be made to the Plymouth Rod and Gun Club. S. Meadow Road, Plymouth, MA 02360. All other services will be private
