Carrico, Paul Louis, 53, of Louisville passed away April 26, 2014. Paul was an active member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church and a proud 1979 graduate of Bishop David High School. He also volunteered for Crusade for Children and Muscular Dystrophy Association regularly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lou and John Carrico.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Julie Marie Carrico; adopted mom, Jeannette Collins (David); Goddaughter, Pam Witek (Marc); loving nieces, Kim Collins, Jennifer Collins, Amy Hughes (Chris) and Jaclyn Fultz; nephews, David J. Collins (Christina) and Aaron Fultz; great niece, Bella Hughes, and many other loving great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by “man’s best friend”, Hasbro.
A funeral Mass will be held in Paul’s honor 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be 2 -8 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society.
