Marie Arthemise Eva (Caron) Soucy of Lawrence passed away April 23, 2014 at the age of 93 years young. She was a proud life long resident of Lawrence. Mrs. Soucy worked at Pacific Mills until it closed, then she worked at Western Electric until her retirement in 1977. Mrs. Soucy loved doing her volunteer work as a member of the Pioneers of America at Western Electric. She was a lover of life, music and dancing, but most of all her family, who will always cherish her as she did them. Mrs. Soucy would say, she lived life fully and she did it her way. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Gilbert J. Soucy Sr. in 1994. Mrs. Soucy is survived by her loving family of three sons: Gilbert J. Soucy Jr. and his wife Joyce of Lowell, Gerald J. Soucy and his wife Peggy of Canton, and Richard K Soucy of Salem, NH., nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. At the request of the family there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mrs. Soucy's memory to the Mary Immaculate Nursing Home Activity Department.
