SPENCER/BERLIN: Carl A. Brodeur 95, of 4 Crestview Dr., died Friday, April 25 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He and his wife Elinor J. (Warbin) Brodeur who died in 1996, resided in Berlin, MA for 50 years. He leaves his daughters Barbara A. Haigh and her husband David of Nashua, NH., and Betty L. Pierce and her husband Wayne of Spencer with whom he lived, a brother Clifton Brodeur of Calif., 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Carl was a Brewer for many years at the former Carling Brewery in Natick and later worked in the custodial dept. of Jamesbury Mfg. in Worcester, retiring in 1983.
Born in Marlborough, he was the son of Arthur J. and Albina (Bettez) Brodeur. He was a former member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Hudson where he was church custodian for 16 years. He was a longtime harmonica player. Carl, was a true and caring gentleman devoted to his family.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Pleasant Street Cemetery in Berlin. There are no calling hours.
