Hyannis--Arthur A. Surabian, 91, formerly of Worcester, died November 4, 2004 in Cape Cod Hospital.
His wife of 59 years, Alice (Bilbilian) Surabian, died in March. He leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Arthur M. and Carol A. Surabian of Mashpee; a grandson, Matthew M. Surabian, who is a sophomore at Holy Cross College; a brother-in-law, Harold Bilbilian and his wife Mildred, and several nephews and nieces.
Mr. Surabian was born in Providence, son of Oscar and Marian (Goshgarian) Surabian. He worked at the Worcester Telegram&Gazette as a paste-up artist and sign painter for 30 years. He was a member of The Armenian Church of Our Saviour, the Elks, and the American Legion. He was also an avid Red Sox fan. Mr. Surabian served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, Nov. 8, at The Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester. A calling hour will be held at the church from 9:30-10:45 and the Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. The family asks that flowers be omitted.
