Obituary


Henry “Ron” Paone of Medford, formerly of East Boston, died peacefully at his home April 9, 2014 surrounded by his loving family, at age 79.

Mr. Paone was raised in the North End and East Boston, the son of the late Armando and Ada Paone. He served in the United States Navy and later operated his own businesses until his retirement. Possessed of a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Henry operated his own general contracting firm, Paone and Sons in East Boston and also owned and operated East Boston Paint and Paper. He owned real estate and managed residential property. While successful as a business man he is best remembered as a devoted husband and father who provided well for his large family and as a good friend to many who was always ready to lend a helping hand.


The beloved husband of 48 years to Anne K. (Dacey) Paone and the late Gina V. (Tripari) Paone, he leaves his devoted children: Deborah Dunderdale and her husband George of Andover, Kim Lamparelli and her husband John of Norwell, Renee Paone and the late Ronda G. Paone of Medford, Ronald Paone and his wife Kim of Medford, Dante Paone and his wife Gina of Andover, Enrico Paone and his wife Rhonda of Medford, Gina Paone of Lawrence, Dana and Brach Paone of Medford. He was a loving grandfather to 17 grandchildren and loving great-grandfather to eight great-grandchildren. The dear brother of Doris Solar, Carol Lemerise, Eileen Green and the late Armand and Robert Paone, all of East Boston, he was an uncle to many nieces and nephews and a dedicated brother-in-law to his sisters and brothers-in-law.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Friday 3 - 8 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, and again on Saturday morning, April 26th at 10 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
