Alice (Tarriel Cambra) Curran age 88 of Somerset passed away April 21, 2014. She was the widow of Matthew Thomas Curran and Dennis Cordeiro and the daughter of the late Manuel and Marianna (Cambra) Tarriel. Alice was a retired inspector in the garment industry, a member of the ILGWU and a parishioner of St. John of God Church.
She was the mother of Stephen T. Cordeiro (wife Ronita Pace) of Lee, MA, sister of Georgiana Fournier and Gertrude Ego of Fall River and the late Mary Holleran. Alice also leaves granddaughter Alissa Cordeiro and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River FRIDAY at 9 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church 996 Brayton Ave., Somerset at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
